Gustave Caillebotte was a French artist, collector, patron and organizer of exhibitions. One of his most famous works is “Les raboteurs de parquet”, which is currently on display at the Musée d’Orsay.
After completing his work, Caillebotte presented the canvas the Paris Salon of 1875, but the jury rejected it, considering that its subject was vulgar and unworthy to enter the official exhibition. After this, Caillebotte choose to participate in the second of the Impressionist group exhibition in 1876, which will also be the main driver, and exposes there’s “Les raboteurs”
This same technique was what Albert and Mireia, our restaurants, applied to the floor of Ocaña. This is one example of how we care for our image.
